What is Print Your Memory?

To put it simply we’re an awesome website that helps you print photos online, creating stunning HD metallic prints perfect for your home (or to give as a gift!) in 3 simple steps. 

 

What material do you use?

High quality 3mm thick aluminium. Only the best. And did you know aluminum is recyclable? Bonus!

 

What makes you different?

With years of experience in the photographic and printing industry we can source expertly treated, high end materials. All prints are machine printed and cut, then hand finished for that personal touch. This results in crystal clear HD prints with pin sharp resolution. How do I know my photo is good enough for printing?

For most print sizes, a photo taken on a modern smartphone will work brilliantly.

We print at 250 DPI to achieve a crisp, high-quality finish. A typical smartphone photo might be around 3000 × 4000 pixels, often recorded at 72 DPI. Before printing, we resize your image so that it meets the resolution needed for high-quality printing. We don’t alter or enhance the colours of your photo.

When the DPI is increased for print, the available pixel dimensions reduce. That’s why the size of the original image becomes more important as the size of your print increases.

For smaller and medium-sized prints, a standard smartphone photo will usually provide more than enough detail for a beautifully crisp result.

For larger prints, a higher-resolution original is advantageous as there are more pixels available to maintain that sharp, detailed finish at a bigger size. If you’re planning a full-size piece of wall art, a high-resolution image from a digital SLR or similar camera will generally give you the best results.

How and where do you print my photos?

We have our own factory in Cheshire, UK, stacked to the rafters with all the latest printing technology together with a passionate workforce awaiting your order.

 

How much is postage and packaging?

Nothing. Yep, you read that right. Zero. Zilch. Postage and packaging is included. The price you see is the price you pay, and nothing more.

 

Do you ship worldwide?

Currently we only deliver to the UK. But keep an eye out as we start to take over the world. In a good way.

 

I’ve ordered. How long do I have to wait?

You’ve got good taste! Thanks for your order. Great news, you don’t have long to wait at all. Prints up to 16×16 are delivered by Evri who deliver 7 days a week and aim to deliver between 2-4 days. The average is 2 days. Prints over 16×16 are sent via UPS or FedEx. If you order before 11:30am (Monday to Thursday) it’s next day delivery. Miss the cut? Fear not, it will be with you the following working day.

 

How do I hang/position it?

If you’ve ordered a tabletop print we will hand position the stand to the back, in correct orientation ready for you to place. There is also a hook should you wish to hang the smaller prints.

If you’ve purchased wall art, these come with an integral wall bracket for a free floating effect.

 

Can I hang it outside?

In short: Yes! Our prints are expertly treated and water resistant so they can go anywhere. They’re super easy to clean too.

 

I’m uploading pictures of children; how safe is it?

Protecting your loved ones is a top priority for you and us! Our site is fully protected and holds a valid SSL certificate to protect your details. Your image, once uploaded, is sent to our factory to produce the print. Once complete we will hold your image on file in a secure database for a period of 6 months in case you require a reprint. After 6 months we delete images from the system.

 

I’m not totally satisfied with my order, what should I do?

Not a problem. The best thing to do is get in touch with us as soon as possible so we can help find the best solution. Please include as many details as possible and don’t forget to include a picture.
